First off I need to apologize to all my reader for not posting as I should have during the last 2 weeks, had no excuse rather than to say I catch the blogging flu for the past few days and it was terrible cause I hate not writing and if feel like I was wasting the money invested in hosting.
About Marriage Mistake

Mistake number one: Getting drunk in Vegas.
The Mistake number two: Waking up in HIS bed with a HUGE rock on my finger (and our clothes missing).
Mistake number three: He is my best friend’s brother! Nooo….get it together girl. You did not do this. You did not just get married to your best friend’s brother!
Okay cool down babes…mistakes happen but everything can be fixed, right? This marriage needs to be annulled. Wait…why does the pregnancy test show those lines? Another mistake probably? Oops…Did I just get pregnant with his baby? Now what!
Why I Chose This Book
Honestly, it wasn’t the cover or the muscle man on it that caught my attention. I just wanted an easy, light read, something to balance out heavier novels. And thanks to the book goddess (yes, she exists!), I found myself clicking buy without hesitation.
I didn’t expect much going in, but Marriage Mistake by Victoria Snow surprised me in small, refreshing ways.
Plot Summary
The story kicks off at a friend’s wedding, where Amber, our heroine, watches the wedding party march down the aisle. Among them is Mickey, the groom’s best man, who also happens to be her best friend’s brother.
Amber runs a stunt company (yes, she’s a CEO and total boss lady), while Mickey is a rising MMA fighter. The two haven’t seen each other in three years. He used to have a massive crush on her, and well… let’s just say those feelings haven’t disappeared.
What follows is a night of celebration, drinks, and fireworks and the next morning, neither of them remembers much. Except for one thing: they’re married.
From there, the chaos begins. The rest of the book focuses on their chemistry, their constant push-and-pull, and the emotional mess that comes with trying to figure out whether their “mistake” might actually be something real.

My Thoughts on Marriage Mistake by Victoria Snow
1. The Tropes
If you love best friend’s brother or friends-to-lovers tropes, this book might be right up your alley. Personally, it’s not my favorite, but I still found myself entertained.
2. The Chemistry
Let’s talk about the steam, because Marriage Mistake does not hold back. I’d say 90% of the book focuses on the couple’s physical chemistry. Some scenes were beautifully written, while others felt like a little too much for me. But hey, if you’re in the mood for something steamy and light, you’ll enjoy it.
3. The Characters
- Mickey: I liked him. He’s patient, kind, and takes things in stride. You can tell he genuinely wants to commit to Amber from the start.
- Amber: A bit harder to warm up to at first. She’s independent but guarded probably because of her childhood and losing both parents. Raised by an aunt who tried her best, Amber learned early on to depend only on herself.
That trauma carries into adulthood and explains why she struggles with vulnerability. It’s one of the few emotional threads I wish the author explored more deeply.
4. The Storytelling
While I enjoyed the feelings between Amber and Mickey, the story didn’t dive much into their lives beyond the relationship. Every time they meet, sparks fly but not much else happens. I would’ve loved to see more of Amber’s career as a stunt CEO or how she balances that life with romance.
What I Liked
- Amber as a strong, independent female lead.
- Mickey’s charm and steady energy.
- The easy-to-read writing style, perfect for a cozy weekend.
- The fun, chaotic Vegas setup that starts everything.
What I Didn’t Love
- Too many sex scenes that took away from character development.
- Missed opportunities to explore Amber’s backstory more deeply.
- The pacing, the story could’ve benefited from slowing down in emotional moments.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Marriage Mistake is a light, sexy, and fast-paced romance that delivers on fun but doesn’t dig too deep. It’s perfect if you’re in the mood for something easy and drama-filled without emotional heaviness.
If you love books where chaos meets chemistry and you don’t mind a few extra steamy chapters, this one’s worth picking up.
Would I reread it? Probably not.
Would I recommend it for a fun weekend read? Absolutely.
